Poster Contest

2024 Poster Contest Theme: “MAY THE FOREST BE WITH YOU ALWAYS”

The Upper Willamette Soil & Water Conservation District sponsors the local National Association of Conservation Districts poster contest, in which all students (K-12) are invited to participate regardless of public, private or home-school institution. Grade divisions are: K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12.

The 2024 theme celebrates resilient forests, which are indispensable in fostering a sustainable world. The phrase “May the Forest Be with You, Always” signifies our commitment to responsible forest stewardship, emphasizing their enduring strength and adaptability. The NACD Poster Contest provides students from kindergarten through 12th grade a chance to have their art displayed nationally. Winning posters reflect the annual NACD Stewardship theme and highlight the work of conservation districts and their associations in protecting and enhancing natural resources. The contest starts locally, advances to state levels, then national. National winners receive recognition at NACD’s annual meeting.
