The Working Lands Program page is hosted by the Upper Willamette Soil & Water Conservation District.

Support for Transition to a Regenerative Agricultural Landscape

The Willamette Working Lands Program works with farmers, ranchers, and foresters to upgrade their land management practices to improve soil quality, enhance wildlife habitat, and protect water health. Participation in the Working Lands Program is totally free and voluntary.
We provide:

  • Individualized consultations
  • Technical assistance
  • Access to financial resources

We work with you to create & implement regenerative transition plans suited to your land, your farm, and your business needs.

How it works:

Interested participants are asked to complete an initial interest form, and then are paired with a Navigator. The Navigator will conduct an initial site visit and work with you to develop a plan that reflects your goals for your property and your land management practices.

Based on your goals, your Navigator will help you to identify resources, look out for opportunities, and connect you with specialists who will be able to help. They’ll work alongside you to determine next steps and make updates to your plan when your goals change.
